Thank you for stopping by the "bee hive"! Part of being a successful wedding photographer is making sure you and I get along and can vibe together. You shouldn't want just anyone shooting one of the most important and memorable days of your life! I'm here to share some random facts about me and what you can expect from me as YOUR photographer!

I'm a lifestyle, wedding, and travel photographer in Los Angeles. Originally from Fullerton, CA, I finally moved to LA in 2010 after years and years of always driving to and from Hollywood back to the OC. The native SoCal lifestyle is a large part of who I am. I was born in OC, grew up on the beaches of San Diego, and now reside in Hollywood.

I consider myself a lifestyle, wedding, and travel photographer by day, and a concert/music photographer by night. It's not uncommon for me to shoot a high-end wedding or a luxury home and then find myself in the photo pit at a concert later the next evening and I wouldn't have it any other way!

By blending my seasoned photo-journalistic eye with an editorial approach to portraiture, I offer a unique style of photography: rock ‘n‘ roll zest with soft traditional undertones. I specialize in two completely different types of photography and have developed a style that allows me to bridge them together. I get to blend my "Pottery Barn" side with my "Iggy Pop" side!

LOVER OF MUSIC!

Not a big surprise, I'm sure, but music is a big part of my life. I have about 500 CD's, some cassette tapes, about a million mp3's on an old iPod somewhere, and a pretty rad vinyl record collection that I still like to grow today. Most of the people in my life are also musicians.

I started photographing punk & rock bands while I was still in high school. I got my "big break" after sneaking in a telephoto lens to a concert at the OC Fair in 2007 and eventually started photographing concerts for various media outlets. My most proud, pinch-me moment: I got to photograph Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin!!!

PREFERS MEZCAL

Here's another one I know not many people enjoy; Mezcal! If you're not sure what I'm even talking about, it's a type of tequila but it's distilled differently and has a more earthy, smoky flavor. It's not for everyone, but if you know, you know! My favorite place on earth (so far) is Oaxaca, Mexico!

OBSESSED WITH FANCY CANDLES

Never under-estimate the value of a delicious smelling candle! I know not everyone does, but I'm one of those who will splurge on a $70 candle and not regret it for a second, especially when it makes my whole house smell yummy. #notsorry

INFLUENCED BY ANTHONY BOURDAIN

One of the people I've always most admired was Anthony Bourdain. He was so cool, he was punk rock, obviously well-travelled, knew everything about food and drinks, and just LOVED the road lesser travelled. When I travel, I always toss the itinerary out the window, trek out to the parts unknown, stay away from tourist traps, and absorb and experience the culture in its most genuine form.

FILM IS NOT DEAD!

I originally learned photography the old fashioned way in high school; black and white film! I won't say the year, but it was nearly 20 years ago! I shot all manual, rolled and developed my own film, and even printed my own prints in the darkroom. Some days, I ditched all my classes and just stayed in there, printing all day. -It's ok, I still graduated! ;)
