I love these two. I shot their wedding back in 2012. I’ve known Matt for almost 10 years probably. He’s currently living in Korea and Jenikah lives in southern California. They get to see each other every 6 months or so because of the distance. They keep their relationship strong and healthy despite the long distance between them. It’s inspiring, really. I admire the work they both put into it. They truly are two of a kind.

We decided to meet up for some photos at the Santa Monica Pier last week. It was a celebration for several things; Matt’s birthday, as he was back in town for two weeks until he goes back to Korea again for awhile, some updated images of them together, and for Valentine’s Day. These two are anything but traditional so these weren’t your typical cheesy lovey-dovey photos. These are mostly candid, just capturing them in their element together. My style.
