Part II of Elyse and Grayson’s session in Malibu had some inspiration to it. By the way, could the sky be any bluer?! It was almost bluer than Elyse’s beautiful eyes. After the beach, we drove across the street to this gigantic field of beautiful yellow flowers. It was right off PCH. Sometimes the best plan of action for shooting is to not really stick to the original one and just go with something that’s already right there in front of you. Her boho-chic style totally worked for this setting. I’m obsessed with these!
This field reminded me of one of my favorite movies; Big Fish. This is based off the part where Edward Bloom stands in a field of daffodils and yells “Sandra Templeton, I love you and I WILL marry you!” I don’t really think of a “dream wedding” like most girls do, but I did decide awhile ago that if I ever had to plan a reception/after party type thing, it would be inspired by Big Fish. I practically have all the details down to a tee! Circus tents, popcorn machines, and a large field of grass for dancing in your bare feet, lit by string lights.
Anyway, we went in the direction slightly, but not completely…but it stills reminds of that part in that movie! 😉
